Authentication Options

Essembi has three options for user authentication:

1. Email address with password
2. Google account
3. Microsoft account

Selecting Authentication Method

When a new user signs up or is invited to join an Essembi organization, they may select their authentication method.

When accepting an invitation, the SSO email that is chosen must match the email that was invited.

Benefits of Single Sign-On (SSO)

Single sign on enables users to authenticate in Essembi with Google or Microsoft account management.

For users, this means one less password to manage.

For admins, this simplifies the administration of the system by minimizing the account configuration and de-activation processes. It also adds extra security through configurable mechanisms such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) through authenticator apps and other methods.
