New Generative AI Features for Software Teams

We are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking update to Essembi, featuring powerful new generative AI capabilities that will transform how you create and manage content. At the heart of this release is our advanced AI-powered content generation tool, designed to streamline your workflow and boost productivity like never before. Along with this game-changing AI feature, we are also introducing several other enhancements to make your Essembi experience even better.

AI-Powered Content Generation

Essembi's AI generation tools have leveled up significantly. You can now generate long-text content based on a custom data model. Write your own prompt for the AI engine, select the data model to use for generation and then all users can access the "Generate with AI" option from a long-text field.

All generative AI is still driven by OpenAI GPT-4o.

Sample Use Cases

This powerful tool can now:

Generate comprehensive release notes based on all tickets included within a release
Create blog posts summarizing all tickets in a release
Produce new help content for epics linked to multiple tickets

This new option can help save your documentation and marketing team quite a bit of time.

Bulk Archiving via Sheets

We have added the ability to easily archive all records shown in a sheet. Simply select the drop down from the create button and click the "Archive All" option.

This is useful for archiving lists of completed records, cleaning up out dated records or removing the initial sample data shipped with Essembi.

Archived records are not permanently deleted in Essembi. You can view, edit and un-archive these archived records. This also allows us to maintain full traceability in Essembi.

Edit Long-Text Fields Directly in Sheets

You can now edit long-text fields directly from your sheets, making data entry and updates faster and more intuitive than ever. Simply select the long-text field from the sheet and the long-text editor you are used to will display in a modal window.
