Ask Your Plant Floor Data a Question with AI
Essembi's new AI chat lets manufacturing leaders ask questions about downtime, maintenance, and quality, then dig deeper with follow-ups.

Essembi's newest AI tool lets leaders ask plain-language questions about their plant floor data and get real answers back in seconds, no report building, no filtering through dashboards, no waiting on someone else to pull the numbers. Just type your question and let Essembi's AI do the digging:
- "Show me downtime incidents for last week on packaging line #2"
- "What preventative maintenance tasks are we behind on?"
- "What quality failures have we had in the past month in blending and how has this impacted the production schedule?"
This is all part of Essembi's mission to increase the speed of your continuous improvement process. The faster leaders can get answers, the faster they can drive improvement on the floor.
Ask Follow-Up Questions
Answers rarely raise just one question, they raise the next one. Essembi's AI chat keeps the conversation going, so you can drill deeper without starting over. Ask something like "How does that downtime compare to packaging line #3?" and the AI will pull the comparison using the same context from your original question.
How to Use It
- Type your question in the search bar
- Essembi's AI will show its work while it retrieves the right data and builds the report
- Ask follow-up questions or drill into results from the AI analysis
Essembi also stores your past questions, so reports you run regularly are just a single click away the next time you need them.
Building on Essembi's Existing AI Tools
This new reporting assistant joins a growing set of AI tools already available within Essembi:
- AI Pre-Job Briefing: Gives production operators a quick review of job history for when the current part was last run on the line, surfacing downtime incidents by line component and run rate trends to watch for. It's a simple way to empower operators with the context they need before a job even starts.
- AI OEE Score Analysis: Reviews all the components of an OEE score and provides suggestions for improvement, helping teams understand not just what their score is, but why.
Together, these tools mean Essembi's AI is working for your team from the shop floor all the way up to leadership, helping operators run better jobs and helping leaders ask sharper questions.
What's Next for Essembi with AI
With edge devices and APIs collecting real-time data from production lines, the amount of data included within Essembi is virtually unlimited. As customers begin to create a digital twin of their manufacturing process in Essembi, we plan to enable more analysis tools to help analyze large data sets and provide actionable insights.
Option to Disable AI Tools in Essembi
Essembi still allows customers to disable all AI features if desired. However, we have taken a number of steps to ensure data security including strategically selecting what data sets are sent to the AI engine.
