Essembi's latest release includes a powerful new AI tool to analyze any OEE score in the system. The AI assistant processes vast amounts of operational data to surface insights that can be difficult to identify manually, helping teams make faster, more informed decisions:
- Root Cause Analysis: Get AI-driven insights into key factors impacting your OEE performance
- Pattern Recognition: Automatically spot trends and anomalies across large volumes of production data
- Improvement Recommendations: Receive data-backed suggestions on how to optimize production efficiency and prioritize improvements
What's Next for Essembi with AI
With edge devices and APIs collecting real-time data from production lines, the amount of data included within Essembi is virtually unlimited. As customers begin to create a digital twin of their manufacturing process in Essembi, we plan to enable more analysis tools to help analyze large data sets and provide actionable insights.
We welcome all feedback from users on AI tools that would be valuable to them and their manufacturing operations.
Option to Disable AI Tools in Essembi
Essembi still allows customers to disable all AI features if desired. However, we have taken a number of steps to ensure data security including strategically selecting what data sets are sent to the AI engine.
4 New OEE Drill-Down Reports

To help teams analyze OEE results in a more traditional fashion via reports, Essembi has enabled four new drill-down options from the "More" menu on the time span, hourly, and daily OEE reports:
- Finishes: Production finishes in the time span for that result which drives the "Availability" element of your OEE score.
- Rejections: Quality rejections that occurred during the time span which drives the "Quality" element of your OEE score.
- Incidents: Any incidents that occurred during the time span. This includes machine downtime incidents which drives the "Availability" element of your OEE score.
- Routings: Work order routings from the time span so that you can see any work orders that were running.
Each drill-down report displays the specific transactional items that feed into your OEE calculations, providing full transparency into the underlying data. This enhanced visibility helps identify issues like routings that span multiple days, which can affect OEE accuracy and require schedule adjustments.
Fixes
- Line Component Management: Fixed an issue that prevented adding line components directly through the line form, streamlining the configuration process.
Improvements
- Tablet User Experience Enhancements: Quality of life improvements for UI/UX across Android and iOS tablet devices, ensuring a smoother, more intuitive experience for shop floor users.
- Report Naming Updates: Updated system names for OEE, run rate, and labor reports to improve clarity and consistency across the platform.
